Delete your account
Delete your QuoteBolt account and the data tied to it, from the web or the app.
How to delete it
- Sign in to QuoteBolt with the email on the account.
- Open Settings, then Security.
- Choose Delete Account, pick now or in 7 days, and type your email to confirm.
If you can't reach the email on the account any more, email support@quotebolt.app from an address we can match to the account. We confirm it's you, then delete it within 30 days. Accounts that share a business with other people are deleted through support the same way.
What we delete
- Your login, profile and email settings
- Your business and everything in it: quotes, invoices, contacts, companies, properties, jobs, appointments, notes, imports and saved views
- Bolt conversations, memory and the logs of what Bolt did
- Uploaded files: logos, profile photos and import files
- Google Calendar access: we revoke it with Google and delete the tokens and cached events
- Your Stripe payout account and billing profile, closed at Stripe
- Analytics tied to you: your profile, events and session recordings
- Email lists and delivery logs that contain your address
What we keep, and why
- Stripe's payment records. Stripe keeps its own records of past payments and payouts to meet its legal and tax duties. If your payout account still holds a balance, Stripe closes it and handles the balance under its own process.
- A minimal deletion record. The date, a one-way hash of your email (never the email itself) and what each step did. It proves the deletion happened.
- Totals that can't identify you. Counts and timings with nothing that points back to you or your business.
- Emails already sent. Quotes, invoices and messages your customers received stay in their inboxes. The links in them stop working.
When
- Delete now: done within a few minutes.
- Delete in 7 days: runs around 8am Eastern on day 7. Sign in any time before then to cancel.
- Analytics: our analytics provider removes your events and recordings in the background, within 30 days.
- Backups: copies in our encrypted database backups expire on their own within 30 days.
